Γιώργος Γαβριήλ – ζωγράφος
Όλοι μιλούν για τον Γιώργο Γαβριήλ αυτές τις μέρες στην Κύπρο. Ζωγραφίζει και εκθέτει εδώ και δεκαετίες και το έργο του έχει μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον.
Μου θυμίζει το έργο του βέλγου σουρεαλιστή René Magritte (1898 – 1967), καθώς οι πίνακες και των δύο καλλιτεχνών ασχολούνται με κοινά θέματα.
Εδώ είναι μερικά παραδείγματα από την δουλειάς τους.

Giorgos is the person everyone is talking about these days in Cyprus. He has been painting and exhibiting for decades and his work is of great interest.
He reminds me of the work of Belgian surrealist René Magritte (1898 – 1967) as the paintings of both artists share common themes.
